![]() ![]() They just left that game in Early Access and F'ed of. these are the same guys that worked on Eden star. ![]() Perhaps the main town was done by someone else with less experience?Īll in all I think it's a fun map held back by the lack of it's presentation. The castle was awesome and well layed out, And the small villages on the other side of the map felt and looked unique (Despite being reused assets as well) ![]() I actually rather liked most of the map aside from the main town. Not so much the map design (Apart from the aforementioned reuse of assets anyway) To an extend it did but on the other hand I really felt dissapointed by the presentation of the mission itself. I am fine with no cutscenes as long as the mission justifies it. The game didn't even have any cutscenes besides the meaningless exfiltrate one. Less effort per mission for a smaller price. I mentioned it earlier in another thread but this is what I was afraid off. Unlike all other maps Conqueror in general felt easy I found all findables on the first run. or decrease them if people even find that necessary. We really need that slider people have been talking about to increase enemy numbers. Rubble And Ruin is probably the only map I ever felt a real sense of struggle in terms of enemy numbers.īut despite that most maps their first run I had at least a few shootouts and times where I actually had to change position due to the possibility of being overrun. I realized when I got to the main town near the end of my first run that that was where most of the enemies where but still felt rather empty. When I first entered the map I was surprised just how little enemies I saw. It's probably just becuase I have gotten significantly better at the game but I find that the map just like all other maps but perhaps even more so. What I usually don't mind is the clever reuse of assets but on this map especially in the main town I find it jarring to see buildings we have already seen elsewhere layed out just a bit different, Same with the church. ![]()
